I can get any sound I'll ever need out of any one of my Hufschmid guitars... Rock, metal, country, blues... doesn't matter, these guitars DELIVER!
This guitar, a Tantalum model, has in my opinion one of the most beautiful finishes I've ever seen. The neck once again is perfectly carved to fit my hand. This is really impressive to me because Patrick HAND CARVES each neck, using small hand tools and a caliper. In fact, every guitar is completely handmade without the use of CNC machines!! You can actually check out his videos online, ( youtube, Instagram ) and watch him hand craft these guitars!!! The guitar is perfectly balanced, and very comfortable to play in either a standing or seated position. Patrick uses PERFECTLY quartersawn Sapele mahogany for his bodies and necks. The grain on this particular wood is beautiful, and for a neck blank, NOTHING is stronger! The craftsmanship is incredible, it is apparent that a great deal of care goes into the creation of a Hufschmid guitar, not to mention over 23 years of experience!! The bridge placement is spot on, the intonation is perfect. The action is amazing, with no fret buzz. The pros of ordering a Hufschmid guitar are numerous, as I have stated. The cons.... you won't want to play any other guitar!!!! The specs are as follows:
