NECK (incidentally very thick) predict large putty and long fingers to play it. indeed, it is composed of five different layers of wood. on the other hand, it does not move ever!
UTILIZATION
I have a mc550 ebony fingerboard, preamp and all the heavy cavalry of the time (5 knobs, inverters and all other) + 1 preamp a 9 V battery (the very first) was really a fashion . on the other hand, if you touch a live one single setting by mistake, the sound changes totalmente ... It was very boring for that. (why I sold it)
SOUNDS
on the other hand in the studio, is the queen .. (Like gibson les paul recording) as heavy and boring to play. it takes time before the well-known. its look is very 80, but it has a certain charm.
OVERALL OPINION
Sometimes I regret it, because selling below its value .. It is true that this was the flagship of MUSICIAN ibanez, they have to stop to make copies (also excellent and Research) by 2 against defects, very large round, delicate adjustment of sound, and that's it . the rest is good!
