I picked this acoustic-electric hollow body bass guitar up on E-Bay. It was $185.00, with shipping included. Years ago I had a $1000.00 Guild, and I always wanted to have another one for playing around the campfire with freinds, or just for unplugged fun.

This thing is nice! The finish is great, the worksmanship is great, the neck is also wonderfull. I think it plays better and sounds better than that Guild ever did. It also is a single cut-a-way so you can get higher on the neck easy.

The only thing I don't like, is that there is no strap button on the neck side. iguess they want you to use those old straps that go alll the way to the head.
I never liked those so I ordered a strap button and screw, and will install it myself.

Looking inside, the construction appears to be aboslutely wonderfull. I was sceptical when I was ordering a China made guitar, but let me tell you as a bass player of 35 years, this thing is nice!

I would recommend this guitar to a player of any level, especially entry level, because of it's nice neck. It's easy on the hand, which means alot to any player.
i haven't even tried the electric sound yet, but who cares, the way it sounds now and with the worksmanship on the rest of it, it probably works great too!
(P.S. it has 4 band E.Q. too)
