Lecherf 005

The characteristics of this work of art listed on the site www.lecherfguitars.com, but I'm unable to download the photo.
The guitar is neck-through, the body is mahogany, the table padouk, and mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard. 22 boxes.
There is a floyd rose (Schaller), and Di Marzio humbuckers and Seymour Duncan.
There are two switches: one for the splitter in single coil pickups, and a (classical) to select the pickups at all.

UTILIZATION

This guitar is outstanding, I think this is the apt term to designate it. The handle is very well thought out and implemented, and the grip is nice for the fingers, then revealing their docility of this wonder of the violin. The varnish is excellent, and gives the instrument a brilliance that is when the fly has to amateurs.
Because of the handle driver, access to acute is very easy, rather than on a Start or SG guitar that I owned in the past, and I do not regret at all.
All the "frets" are exploited, which is virtually impossible on a guitar series.
Getting started is easy, and you can play longer without tiring sitting.
The sound is up to manufacturing. I play with mesa boogie (f30 and Mark III), and have filled in each session. I think I have progressed since the acquisition of this 005, three years ago.
Thibault Lecherf is a very good luthier, listening, seeking quality rather than profit.

SOUNDS

This guitar, in my opinion, has an excellent record sound because the frequencies highlighted are balanced. This results both from the choice of wood from that of microphones.
The micro easel, with the clear sound of the mesa boogie f30, produces sounds "crystal" at will. Sounds "fat" are not lacking either.
There is something "magical", and this must be the "factor Lecherf" notes come out by themselves on planes quite difficult, kind of tapping solos or legato. With almost any setting distortion, we find on the sound environment you love, and who is the spearhead of virtuosos such as Satriani, Vai, Murray or ... myself ... LOL. No, but no kidding, I play an hour a day, and sometimes I leave the plans that I thought out of reach a decade ago. The job is playing without talented, but the guitar has a lot to.
Actually, all planes pass over this guitar, with sounds very homogeneous.
I recently purchased a Mesa Boogie Mark IV, and it's even better than the F 30 and the mark III. This amp is very versatile, but, whatever the setting, we recognize the tone of the guitar, which sounds great in all circumstances. In other words when making its settings with the mark IV is not to correct the insiffisances Lecherf. A dream, right? ...

OVERALL OPINION

The value for money is simply amazing, because for 2500 euros, there is something to satisfy many requirements (musical, aesthetic, technical). When I think of a Les Paul costs about that price ...
Since purchasing this guitar, I did more in the music stores to buy the strings (and also to see the mesa boogie ...). When my eyes are crossed guitars "brand", I have a sense of fun, and I tell myself that I do not need to look elsewhere. Curious, no? ...
