UTILIZATION
The neck is perfect, we slip it without problem ... a marvel.
on the other hand IS NOT painted, it requires attention and maintenance ..
The sculpted heel is no problem for acute CCAA
The ergonomics are perfect, no imbalance, the location for the forearm is a good idea ... John Petrucci is like it ...
Obviously, for those who listen to Dream Theater, this guitar is mostly tour big sound, this does not have very nice clean sounds ... it is a little light for the old blues and jazz on the other hand ...
SOUNDS
I play a little bit of everything, especially rock and blues and is very versatile ... nothing to say a Musicman never used to give us some imperfections
I play it with a Crate BV300HB, it is perfect ... I have all the sounds I want with. It is of course perfectly with mesa boogie.
Once again, just for a little jazz and old blues ... but I see more blues rock metal, I have everything I want. The clean sound is very good too.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had eight months and is perfect for me.
I love the sound, design (redburst pearl finish), and especially the manche.J love it just under the selector too small for my liking and too close to hand.
I tried the fender States, the gibson, and a prs musicman on before buying. I hesitated between luke, the Petrucci and a PRS Custom ...
€ 2375 for a perfect (without head but with piezo and matching inlay), the price / quality ratio is good ... but if you have the opportunity to go to the usa buy the bottom, it costs € 900 less .
This choice I would do without hesitation, and I would sound good experience in musicman, but by buying directly in California next time ...
