Luke is a dark blue, I do not know his age but I have to apply for a music man to know, I think she has a dozen years.
Everyone knows the specifications, do not bother to dwell on them. For my part, I chose this guitar for the neck, V-incredible comfort as the series L. I had four other music man (3 silhouettes and an axis with piezo sp).

UTILIZATION

After nearly six years of use, this guitar is in perfect, no wear, no design problem, it is robustness and reliability incredible, yet buffeted through almost the entire planet. Even a sharp fall and accidentally did just sliver lacquer ... A held chord flawless. I rule myself and I've never needed to go to the luthier, who I usually eat a lot of hoops, I contemplated not even a refrettage on it (and this is my main guitar) .

Otherwise, this guitar is heavy but well balanced, it sounds great unplgged too much density in spite of the floating bridge. Then, I find it super nice like that but finally, reach in this situation the fact, given its smallness.

SOUNDS

So this is where I spoke, I always played with passive pickups, because I use the volume knob a lot to manage the gain (go from clean to crunch, crunch of the lead ...) and the early trials amp, I did not like the original EMG, too cold for me as not suitable for my set, and especially the active system was unable to play with the win: when we lower the volume is the volume down but not the level of saturation (not ask me why, I know nothing at all, lol) Anyway, not the sound I'm looking, not at all.

I could sell it but this is the first guitar when I was as at ease as if it had been designed for me, I did not want to let slip. So I changed all the electronics, the three microphones, the knobs to the input jack because EMGs are active with any special electronics chain. I was put in place a kit DIMARZIO found on the figure, namely a Paf Pro in double and two vintage V2 (which no longer exist under that name but I think there are still manufactured)
Delicate operation because it took me to resize the encroachment of simple microphones, too large for routers EMG (all this delicately CLURE a 1 mm solder copper wire coil, should not have gogo:)
but here it goes in and is adjustable in height, while nikel (see photos).

I do not put notes here, because obviously I have no personal opinion on the EMG, I have friends who use these mics and they sound great, me they do not suit me.

OVERALL OPINION

For me, it's just perfect, obviously with all the subjectivity of a musician and his instrument Me:) This is a luke-mail with a silhouette, I even consider mounting a handle on a figure luke to achieve this result but it is cheaper to change the pickups (J have sold the kit EMG back on a plate of strata in the week for 200 euros I think, when the set came back DiMarzio has 300 ...

woah, I'm chatty this morning:)
