USE

As I said above the handle is standard with a fairly spciale grip. I changed the strings by putting a 10-52 shooting, but I've never had the desire comfort.
The access to the treble is very convenient when sitting but that ds is standing has become hard. Ergonomics is for many, the body is quite heavy and balance is not terrible. result we are left with a pretty tough race master.
The sound is not nearly as good as with a les paul despite the Seymour Duncan, but this guitar is very versatile in its range and very interesting.

SONORITS

It can suit any style "rock" I think. the sound is aggressive enough but sorely lacking in precision.
I test the guitar on my mesa single correct and brunetti baflle. I have since changed to a triple with baffle mesa I think would have a more bocou prcis. I test the guitar with a lot of chorus flanger delay effects, tremolo.
The result is nice but remains close to its price !!
I really like the distortion in the bridge pickup, clear sound with the neck pickup split or splits with both pickups. The remaining possibilities sembl difficult to use me.

NOTICE GLOBAL

I bought it directly to the united states by correspondence, I have used for only one month, but by the qualities over a les paul, I bought a Les Paul for the gothic same look but against its level see anything !!
So for me the result of the Schecter look is terrible despite a lack of finishing my taste, but the sound is not at the same level.
the price quality ratio is good because it has a surprising look at the guitar sounds drinking but I think it will take time to adjust to the game on the handle.
I do not regret my choice because I did not pay chre but this is actually my first purchase deception. at the same time it is normal when you buy by correspondence we imagine that is going to be the killer, result is not !!

UTILIZATION

The handle, by its thickness requires a certain grip, however the curve is trs enjoyable and Access in an acute impeccable. Attention both for small hands.
This guitar is good balance, does not dive and possde superb ergonomics, the rear of the box a possde dcoupe trs comfortable on the top if you have some curves!
His level, I find trs versatile, 2 Seymour doing their job, but also in saturation clean sounds.

SOUNDS

Personally, I gravitate towards the rock, sometimes blues, or metal and I needed flexibility in this style.
I play on an amp with a simulation Berhinger 2x60W amp Line6 home, and just in rp simulation directly into the PA system.
Sound level, without all spliter is rather bold and often makes me think of the "grain" of Sheraton 2, by cutting two microphones, one finds a bit of a grain of tlcaster (just because an "tlquot; is innimitable!).
I like the sound a little crunchies, the Angus Young, but also typical gibson sounds more pop the pixies or Placebo.

OVERALL OPINION

I possde the instrument for 15 days and I will take time to shop around. I love the look that sounds spot on with the playing style to adopt is a guitar rocker!
Before I m'interressais to acquire the EC models in ESP, more versatile and less Chres (I think ..), too typs 200% of death metal! EMG active pickups with no use if you have a friend glazier in short .. the great guitars!
The report qualitprix trs is good: 700 Euros is more than OK with finishing trs treats and micro SD
I do not regret my choice, all fawn, I'm not with my husband's guitar, life is made of Discoveries, I may be selling it one day to try something else, at least for now, she should trs well in my musical inspiration and gives me pleasure, here.

SOUNDS

Violin making you the tone, like "Les Paul": mahogany body and maple neck

Thanks to the violin high quality of this guitar, we have two Seymour Duncan 100% (or almost) of their potential. These microphones are also incorporated throughout the series BlackJack brand.

The neck pickup SH1n '59
Microjazz very soft, thick, musical. Powerful and plump with low saturation.
Once split, it becomes fendérien: very thin, low output level, but loses its heat and a "content", can be made a surprising (and pleasant) by combining some effects (whammy, especially harmonizer)

The bridge pickup SH-4 JB the
Versatile, easy harmonics, basses sometimes imprecise, high output: it saturates easily.
Once split, blah. Funny at first but you realize quickly that we must all adjust EQ of the amp for power and accuracy.
A lot of punch crunch, its clear nothing special, it "shrinks".
Its strengths are found in parts so saturated and lead all crunch and overdrive sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

I find the look of this guitar very attractive, modern mid (the strings that traverse the body, Seymour Duncan, buttons tone / volume) and half vintage (the liserai cream, pickguard, the massive). This is great and I like ESP LP!

The high price is due to the build quality, accessories "safe bets" that make it up (Grover, Tonepro bridge, micro SD).
Important for weight (as much as a Gibson LP), a wide strap will service I have also added a reinforcement (Planet Waves) to relieve the back story to the fullest.

I recently changed the bridge pickup to a Gibson 498T microphone, this one has a better balance, especially in the bass. It saturate my amp in a better way: the more natural I want to say, less modern, too. The splitage of this one is better than the SH-4, much more usable.

The Schecter import manufactured in the same factory where the LTD of minor differences between the two especially in terms of color and race profile. The two brands are totally independent but share the same factory.

The Schecter U.S. are still manufactured in the Custom Shop in California.

Schecter belongs to Hisatake Shibuya which also has ESP. But the president of Schecter is Michael Ciravolo.
