Tronsonic has released Rhodetron73, a simple single set of samples for Kontakt 4.2.2 and ESX24 from the Rhodes MK1 73, sampled through 60's valve preamps to worn tape (44khz/24 bit) - no EQ/Compression etc.
This set of samples features distortion and also contains a few unexpected patches, to demonstrate the scope of the rhodes as a different type of synthesizable sound source, the company says.
It contains 20 patches each for Kontakt 4.2.2 and ESX24 – patches differ across formats. Also compatible with NNXT and Structure, but no patches available.
Price:
£5.99 (50 meg).
