OVERALL OPINION
I wanted to write about this guitar, and on the mark, because there are few of AF, and I think it would be a shame to completely miss Lakewood, when they would start Looking for a good guitar
I, for example, I made the rounds of seven stores in my town to try as many guitars as possible .. I tried a dozen different Taylor (1st prize of up to € 5000 model) a Gibson Hummingbird, Gibson two other models of opportunities that I forget the name, a Larrivee over € 3000, Ovation 2, 3 Martin models from 800 to 1300 €, the high-end home Takamine, Seagull and others ..
among all these guitars, there are many that I liked (an old Gibson used € 4,000, an old Ovation used € 3000, which surprised me), others a little less (the Larrivee, beautiful and good guitar obviously, but the sound I would describe as hard did not seem to suit me) and some less (Taylor, Seagull, Takamine, which seemed to me in general, the guitars which get tired pretty quickly) in any case, there is none which I thought was that I needed, no that is out of the lot to the point that I decided at the buy, until I came across two guitars Lakewood: an M-32 and D-32 .. I hesitated a bit in between, but what is certain is that I was suddenly dealing with two guitars fairly well above anything I had tried so far, especially in terms of quality / price!
this, of course, is for me, and it may be that others would have preferred to other models, all too aware that I've never played such a price equivalent to Martin, so I 'm far from knowing all very good guitars on the market .. Nevertheless, I play guitar for 25 years, I spent two weeks trying everything I could in a very careful, and I think the brand should definitely be tried if one has the possibility
these are guitars with lots of personality, adjectives that come to mind are deep, smooth, shine, heat, close to the idea that I have of Martin, but much better compared to the three models I ' I have tried
I own this guitar for three weeks, I play every day, and it's better each time, and I feel that I have not finished to discover it, I find it very lively, very responsive, especially in Thurs fingers
this choice I would do without hesitation, while being aware of all the beautiful guitars I've ever had the chance to try
