EASTWEST has won a 2011 MIPA - Musikmesse International Press Award for The Dark Side virtual instrument and sound library.
To celebrate, EASTWEST is offering customers who purchase any qualifying product by April 30, 2011 a second product of equal or lesser value free of charge. Qualifying products include The Dark Side and the company’s flagship product, Hollywood Strings that was also reduced in price effective today.
Thought of as the “Grammy” of the Musical Instrument and Pro Audio Industry, the MIPA Awards were given out at a ceremony during the Musikmesse/Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt, Germany on Thursday, April 7. Around 300 international representatives of music manufacturers and distributors from around the world were on hand for the 12th annual awards. The Dark Side was awarded the winner in the best “Sound Library” category.
Hollywood Strings, which was recently awarded Electronic Musician’s Editor’s Choice Award for 2011, is now priced at $995 for the Diamond Edition and $595 for the Gold Edition. This represents a 30% and 25% reduction respectively. What’s more, Hollywood Strings as well as The Dark Side are eligible for the Buy 1, Get 1 Free offer

Customers who purchase qualifying EASTWEST products between April 7 and April 30, 2011 can choose a second product of equal or lesser value for free. Qualifying products include Hollywood Strings (Diamond and Gold), The Dark Side, Symphonic Choirs (new version with WordBuilder inside PLAY), Sound On Sound 2010 Reader’s Choice Award winner Symphonic Orchestra (Platinum and Gold), EastWest/Quantum Leap Pianos (Full and Gold), Stormdrum 2, Goliath, Fab Four, Ministry Of Rock 1, Silk, Ra, Gypsy, and Voices Of Passion.
