The saz is a 5-string fretless lute-style instrument used if Turkey. Soundiron multi-sampled both acoustic and electric saz, the latter is equipped with single coil and a humbucker pickups. Both instruments are played with various articulations and techniques (palm mutes, chokes, legato slide, slap, hammer-on, pull-off…).
The library features multiple round robins per articulation per string and you can control the strumming, the arpeggiation, the glissando, the legato and the performance. Keyswitches are supported and Soundiron completed the library with an effect rack that includes chorus, flanger, phaser, compression, overdrive, distortion, amplifier and cabinet simulations, parametric EQ, tempo-synced delay and reverb. 45 impulses of real spaces and 25 original FX impulses are also available.
The acoustic saz features 6971 samples, and 13745 for the electric model. Each instrument is available separately for the introductory price of $129 instead of $149 until April 4th, or bundled for $199 instead of $298. You can listen to demos on www.soundiron.com.
