Pegasus is the name of the new bridge pickup Seymour Duncan will soon launches for 7 and 8-string guitars.
Full specifications of the Pegasus pickup are still to be announced, but Seymour Duncan announces that this bridge humbucker is intended for modern and progressive metal guitar players seeking a moderate output level.
The Pegasus pickup will be available in passive and active (soapbar) versions, for 7 and 8-string guitars and in bridge configuration only. A different neck model could also be added, possibly called Sentient, but this information has not been confirmed yet.
