I bought this as my second amp from an
A.M.S. catalog for 200.00 or so bucks!
(my first amp was 10 watts).
Plus I wanted to start experimenting with new sounds and effects, and this was the definate way to go!

What I like about this unit is that it was 200 bucks for 60 watts a pure power, cheap enough there, but with 30 or so effects each with 3 perameter dial-in knobs, it was instantly worth the money. It also seems to be a pretty sturdy amp, having 2 10" speakers and all. It also looks pretty cool too, like a vintage Fender or something. It also has a MIDI in and quite a few I/O ports for just about everything.

I don't like the crappy dirty or overdirve channel,it sounds like paper being wadded together. I have a 30 dollar distortion pedal that sounds 50 times better! Thats about the only thing that sucks about this great amp!

It is made fairly well, but I've seen and used better combo amp like it (Marshall)and can see the difference. But for an ametuer player and a limited income it does the job more than better.

If you're like me and only 6 months into the guitar, this is an amp that will last you years to come. It is even big enough to be used in small gigs or clubs!
