UTILIZATION
At first glance, the use of this amp is a bit confusing, there are knobs multifunction push-up everywhere, LED in all directions, in short, it's pretty complicated. I suggest you read the manual (available in. Pdf and in French on the manufacturer), and after a few hours of use, the Vypyr proves ultimately quite simple.
Once the animal is under control, we obtain easily a good sound, either a round or a clean edge distortion.
A small snag perhaps Sanpera pedal (I or II) will prove indispensable quickly, especially for its function switch, unfortunately it is very expensive when compared with the price of the amp, it will take in 60 €.
SOUNDS
My style: Rock, Hard Rock, Metal ...
That amp is perfect for all my styles, it is very versatile, you can spend a good tonic to a distortion clean sound more or less round, to a warm overdrive and worthy of Clapton.
After covering the entire range of models available, I have not found the that displeases me especially with the equalizer, the many effects and gain it always manages to navigate.
I love the sound of the XXX channel saturated with some Dealy in terms of distortion. To clean, I rather look for the B-Kat in clean channel with a small chorus, the sound is perfect (in the neck pickup is preferred).
OVERALL OPINION
I have this amp for the past few months, I had the opportunity to try it as a group, do not be fooled by appearances, the Vypyr 30W are real big watts, the knob of the master has not had the opportunity to exceed the position 5 (of 13 anyway). The speaker 12 "is nice, the sound is very good even at low volume.
I tried a few other models from Line-6 or Blackstar, even out of the price range of the Vypyr I found it very competitive, the quality / price ratio is simply amazing.
With the experience I would do this choice, I do not regret my purchase, I am very pleased with it.
