OVERALL OPINION

Multi preamp digital effects


Good stuff, at least with a good tube power amp sound is very good, super versatile thanks to different equalizers (can be applied parametric equa (not sure of the term) to the equa Standard amp BASS MED TREB GAIN which allows very precise adjustment of the basic sound, it takes some time to get the ear to initiate a name, but after a year I had a terrible sound, with enough attention to its little sharp and quite low, but I love month his group is not intended to push and force of the blow is too strong etc ...)

It may be a little less good if you want a very vintage sound with such a slight crunch.

I had to pay 600 euros (the prophesy 1) in 2008 I think it was the secondhand basic prices, and frankly disappointed.

It is a complete pramp trs. It combines some pramp and some multi-effects. Part pramp given the choice between 4 types of pramp: Clean, Crunch, and british mega distortion. The Multi-effects is comprehensive and flexible in pre-preamp with a compressor, wah-wah (of good quality and effect of your choice. Then 4 pramp post-effects and reverb and mix. The possibility to assign the ADSR (attack, decay, sustain, release) of any paramettre prophesy offers unlimited possibilities. The ADSR can also get an auto-wah of the most beautiful effect. The transition between effects are clean and no latency. The patch factory is almost all usable as is.

UTILIZATION

The use can be quite simple because you can use the factory sounds to enter games. However, using thorough and much more complicated. It contains 4 eq (a pr one post at a global and a pramp particulirement which is useful). The overall affects all sounds which allows a quick adjustment if we have to adapt to the acoustics of a particular location. The effects are very comprehensive and Prophesy to configure the order in which the signal passes through the different effects.

Excellent machine. So much for the live studio el.

I have been using Mainetti six months and each day I love him more.

What I like most is undoubtedly the infinite possibilities it offers and the quality of sound.

Jai dja the chameleon and the valve voodu rocktron so I'm pretty knowledgeable in the preamp Rocktron appeal. I also test the Triax, the jmp-1 and several heads Valvestate amp like the XXX, 5150 (both sries) and I am convinced that the prophesy DEFINITIONS is the best.

Its price is but one lev preamp that quality (which allows for the studio as much as the live by the way) I find it normal.

Fully multi purpose preamp while a twelve o'clock. There is a lamp in between but watch it only serves to warm up the sound. The preamp is fully digital. all classical effects are few and they affect some or APRS before the preamp. The compressor and wah Hush automatically before the preamp, reverb APRS. The others are assignable. Trs complte connection since there is a loop output for another multi-effects device, a tuner input, an instrument between the front and rear, classic midi in / thru, an output ster o mainout to attack an amplifier and an output Record STREO out for connection to mixer or direct recording.
In front was an adjustment of the level of input and output, a keyboard enable / disable the effects of a knob to select a preset and a large display screen. Good as I want to write a novel on the subject river I refer you to the doc that you can freely Tlcharger rocktron site.
The preamp has 4 modes Clean American, Texas blue, british vintage and mega drive. No need to draw a picture that is quite telling of what is derrire.

UTILIZATION

The device is relatively complex but it's still reasonable in view of the possibility of the gear notemment in terms of configuration and allocation of the effects before or APRS prampli. More confusing is the number of equalizer four in all. I play pop up the metal. So I wanted a super versatile aircraft. I plugged the prophesy of a power amp Marshall EL34 100/100 1922 and two speakers.
The sound is pretty harsh gnral which is typical of preamp Rocktron. those who know the grain of the valve such woodu gather this type of sound the same when Prophesy with a superior quality. The hush, a specially Rocktron makes their job really well and output was a sound breathless.
In fact you should mention the 4 preamp modes to qualify. Modes are clean crunch frankly trs trs good. It's clean and without smudges the net you will have no problem to find the nec plus ultra on this type of sound. For two modes for sounds more angry I am more skeptical. If one finds also a good quality sound EHJV by the absence of lamp preamp. It lacks warmth and grain of the typical lamp even if it is not far trs. It's still cold and a bit synthetic, I would say almost too clean. Therefore I think the Prophesy is not the best investment for the extreme metal but if it can satisfy all the rest. For me it is the weak point of Prophesy.
For Multi-party effects a single word is the quality. Particulirement modulation effects (chorus, flanger ...) amazing. Reverb also excellent. Wah wah automatically truer than true. Delay / Ducker .. it would be great if STREO silent. Why on a device of this price and quality that one finds such a gap? Incomprehensible and unforgivable as it exists on machines that are worth half of the prophesy.
What I also regret is that, although in theory one can prophesy the dconnecter the preamp and use it in between other, that they still color the sound and distorts the external preamp. It's not REALLY even more exploitable than the hush only works in the way of the internal preamp is initializing in this case. Is recovered so important a breath.
A final word on the simulation part, although the opportunities are less important as a device ddi POD with a wide pallette of sounds, there is no picture the result is out of proportion not play in ca the same way.

OVERALL OPINION

One word describes the Prophesy is quality effects. It is undoubtedly in the professional category. For the preamp section is not for me the best of the market but I understand that we can love and appreciation. What a shame that rocktron not made the effort to CRER preamp really a lamp and to delay STREO. La, t Prophesy would untouchable in this price range earn less than a ton of racks, each with a DDIS.
It has the advantage of being a while and do things seriously. The Prophesy remains a device that I find a bit expensive although the price is down lately.

For me one of the big advantages of Prophesy Access in rglages it is really easy since potentiomtres are assigned various functions. Another big advantage is in computer music, it is controlled via a PC interface, which means that produces its sound from your computer.
