Virtual Studio allows for mixing with headphones with four different listening environment (speakers) simulations: stereo, 5.1, car and large venue. BeyerDynamic partnered with the Institute of Technical Acoustics, Bauer Studios and HOFA in order to create “acoustic pictures” (convolution-based impulse responses) from different speaker systems, taking into account the way the sound goes to the listener’s ears in the headphones with distinct listening angles.
Virtual Studio can be used in mixing and mastering situations, it must be inserted into the main output in your DAW.
The plug-in is available in VST and AU formats for Mac and Windows 32 and 64-bit. You can download it for free from europe.beyerdynamic.com.
Just provide your email on the download/newsletter section on the bottom-left of the site and you’ll immediately get a link to directly download Virtual Studio!
