I use it since 1998. I had ordered directly on the site of the U.S. cakewalk as they liquidated the last at an attractive price. This product has not does it seem very successful at the time when he was ahead of its time. It has motorized faders and it can make its own settings inside Sonar, which is very convenient, and this concept is only beginning to spread from one or two years on the market.

I think what has hurt this product is that it was sold bundled with Cakewalk in the mid 90s, and this software was not widely used in Europe, more focused on Cubase.

The unit is very solid (metal), and the faders are motorized, which is very convenient.

I just wish that the circular knobs have no indication as light position on newer controllers. This function would be more practical.

Updated in November 2008: I do not use right now because I mix my Studiomix to mice given the number of functions to manage (effects, panoramic, virtual synths) that are impractical to solve by the Studiomix lack of position awareness of light)
