To celebrate the anniversary of Bob Moog's 78th birthday, Spectrasonics have recently released 78 new Omnisphere patches.
The patches are part of the Bob Moog Tribute Library. The library now features over 800 sounds for Omnisphere, the company’s flagship synthesizer.
The new patches are a continuation of the tribute to honor the legacy of synthesizer pioneer Dr. Robert Moog and support the ongoing work of the Bob Moog Foundation. In 2011 Spectrasonics produced the Tribute library with various synthesizer artists and sound designers including Hans Zimmer, Vince Clarke, Jean Michel Jarre, The Crystal Method, Jordan Rudess, Money Mark, Bernie Worrell, Larry Fast, Roger Joseph Manning Jr., Ryuichi Sakamoto, Morgan Page, Keith Shocklee, Steve Porcaro, Fredwreck, Jan Hammer, Michael Boddicker, Richard Devine, Patrick Moraz, Eddie Jobson, Diego Stocco, Danny Elfman, The Moog Cookbook, and more.
The Bob Moog Tribute Library is available as a download from the Spectrasonics web store for $100; existing Tribute Library customers can download the new patches for free from the Omnisphere updates area.
