Hudson Music will present several new products at the 2009 NAMM show in California.
The Arrival: Behind The Glass DVD/CD by Russ Miller is a three-disc package that contains an audio CD, a minus-drums play-along CD and a DVD with artist interviews, extensive instructional content and documentary footage of these recording sessions.
Arrival: Behind The Glass has a suggested retail price of $39.95
Tommy Igoe’s Groove Essentials 2.0 presented by Hudson Music and Vic Firth features a DVD and companion book/CD package with 53 new grooves and over 100 variations for intermediate to advanced drums players.
Groove Essentials is priced at: 2.0 DVD ($24.95) and book/CD ($24.95) as well as a specially-priced DVD/Book/CD Combo Pack ($39.95).
The Language Of Drumming explains that “learning to play the drums is like learning to speak a language. Knowing a few basic drum beats and fills is like knowing only a few standard phrases in a language; they won’t allow you to communicate clearly or have a full, interactive conversation in practical situations.” The point is to learn the “language of drumming” by starting with its smallest components: the individual “letters” of the rhythmic alphabet, according to Hudson.
The Language Of Drumming has a suggested retail price of $39.95
