«  Very detailed, pédgogique »

I have both DVD for several years. My first viewing was very hard, pen in hand and a book in the other, listening again some advice or passages. I still have those books today, they are covered with valuable advice.

I learned many things, including my work in order to understand what was in the mix.

Even today, I sometimes look back a specific chapter to learn.

To all those who love audiofanzine Protools and videos in the studio with an artist, but would like that we go into more detail: this is exactly what the sound engineer here supporting examples. Everything is rich, clear, educational, detailed, and more is filmed fairly clean. (Of course, one can not say that laughs a lot, but ...) I would add that is not absolutely essential to work in Cubase.

All these tips do not excuse you from a work of listening and analysis, but for all the criticism of Vanpet is pretty amazing and unfair. You can probably blame things on this double DVD, but certainly not to be stingy with advice.

Finally, after years of rummaging through the AF forums and elsewhere, watching videos on youtube, in French or English, to glean tips on mixing, this DVD is clearly the support that I learned the most.
