Classical guitar made in Spain, in Granada, to be precise, the luthier J. Perez (one anonymous, of course, as the city has luthiers). In love with this city of Andalusia, I broke down and took her back during one of my trips to this enchanting area.

right side features: solid pine table, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard.

beautiful matt finish

some imperfections in the finish (sawing the head / nut, sticking the rose ..), but the charm of a handmade guitar, not the factory (it also shows the limits of the maker, without probably not the best in town, but for the price, do not ask too much either)

UTILIZATION

Channel enjoyable to play, although I like large, but not too thick. polished thin mat that does not catch. the wood of the button is dry, very comfortable to play. mechanics are much the tuning, even with a strong pull.

SOUNDS

Superb! all the tones come out clean and well balanced. the bass is deep and well rounded as desired, the highs are not aggressive (or even a bit behind), mediums bring definition and clarity of beauty. The table gives the solid guitar presence, the trunk, the resonance and a good performance notes. I play classical pieces (not no joke), especially in a register Arab-Andalusian baroque improvisation on scales and arpeggios based. it sounds in all cases (except the bread possible, but that it is not the guitar ...)

OVERALL OPINION

I acquired this guitar in 2005 during a trip to Grenada (I repeat, right?), And for 200 euros, including hard case, I think it's a bargain for a guitar maker, especially with the solid wood table and wood is dry quality, with a finish that I like (I prefer the matte varnish polishes).

As I play it altogether rather occasionally (my main hobby the remaining electric), while it is good enough case for me, I'd not seen snapping 500, 1000 or 5000 euros (if only for lack of means) for a classic scratch (although I also tried some more expensive models, but my ear for classical guitar is not sharp enough for me to distinguish large differences in sounds), so you ' 'll understand this choice I would do without hesitation, especially as it inevitably reminds me of Andalusia, the Alhambra and the whole trip that goes with it.
