Sonuus launches the G2M universal guitar to MIDI conversion app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
After the G2M hardware converter launched in 2009, Sonuus offer their audio to MIDI technology as an iOS App that doesn’t require any specific gear. You can use it with any kind of guitar, bass or any other instrument and your Apple device microphone or a conventional guitar interface for iOS.
The app is monophonic, which means it will only detect individual notes from E1 to Bb6 but not chords. The velocity of notes is also detected, as well as pitch-bend determination or alternative chromatic mode. A tuner is also built-in.
The G2M App works will all iOS devices with OS4.2 and above. You can download it from the AppStore for $1.99.
