Guitar electro-acoustic solid body, USA, a piezo sensor in the bridge, a 9v battery in the rear wheel with 3 settings on the edge of the instrument with bass, treble and volume. Ebony fingerboard, gibson typically handle, rounded 59.
It's very simple, nothing too, all you need, how effective, no need for manual ...

UTILIZATION

I did a lot of acoustic guitars electro conventional type, ie with a sounding board. I've never really been comfortable with these guitars, too used to the thickness of an electric.
The handle is a pure joy! I play a Les Paul SmartWood, and there is no difference in sensation. ! This guitar plays like a POWER!! However, that does not find the game on a folk guitar harder than a electric?? It is a pleasure not to nab cramps make a bar of 3min30 Arpeggios Song!
Make a scratch solo on this? It's the same! It just raises a finger, and this, on the whole round and rolls like a highway! AWESOME!

The weight? The weight of an electric, that's all.

Regarding the choice of strings, I put the strings of folk in 0.10, ca really keeps playing comfort like that of an electric, I have not a hair on it just to play on my electric, and that's a real treat!

The only thing that bothers me is the patent of the handle, I tend to sweat and hands it quickly becomes very unpleasant to the touch, ca grip, I do not have this problem with the SmartWood that it is satin. 8 / 10 because of that.

SOUNDS

It sounds god of fire.
Imagine crystal clear sound from heaven, an dynamic sick ... with NO FEEDBACK.

It is a bit too "respondents", it is full of passion, if you can caress a little more violent, she carried away immediately.

The range is really very soft, cozy, close to his brilliant and balanced to perfection. She has a very decided character.

It is ideal for my setup since I'm the type of benefits in any place in any configuration imaginable has all the volumes, and before it was really galley with elctro-acoustic classical problem of feedback that m 'prevented to travel safely on stage, I tried not to move too much, not too close to me back or not too ready to be a speaker, in short, the stress, I looked like a mummy . Now, whatever the voume has 5cm of pregnant facade, well nothing, not a bit of feedback, laugh, and always powerful sound, piercing, in short the best of the best.
It is an ideal guitar to 100% for the guys that make the scene, plans for dredging on the beach by the fire, it will think of the generator and has a good amp powerful enough to drown out the noise of the generator to hope to wrap ...
But the scene is the top.

Look at in addition, it is superb, I used as a booster mirror before a show I restyle the varnish is so deep (nan just kidding). See you in, well maintained with a polish, it did not move a muscle since I have.
The ebony fingerboard is the most beautiful effect, it goes perfectly with your table ebony color.

OVERALL OPINION

My first guitar-electro-acoustic solid body. I flashed on the Pioneer Gibson Americana Series. It was way over priced for my wallet (about € 1700 on Gibsonshop.com).

I found the very ugly Godin (A5 or A6 I know), and stratocoustique or I do not know what, poor reputation of its quality and finish.

Found almost in France, the few that I find ads were quite expensive (1300 ~ € 1500).

I fell back on the United States and I found a store in New Jersey, the guy was willing to send it to me. She came back a € 1050 shipping and customs included (the guitar was sold roughly € 750), model 2003, played very little in view of its state.

For an instrument of this quality so that difficult to find as good cosmetics in France is a reasonable price.

I would do without this choice problem, and I will soon be repeated for a chet atkins this, almost the same or a nylon string.

One thing is sure, I'll keep it, and very long, and maybe so long that I never would sell, I find my ideal folk scene.
