«  The magic is, I met him ... »

Epiphone archtop acoustic guitar vintage of 1949 (thus pre-Gibson).
The light strings are bronze, 20 boxes, floating rosewood bridge.
Bottom and sides flamed maple, spruce top, maple neck with 7 rooms and walnut, ebony fingerboard, inlaid with mother of pearl ...
It is in remarkable condition, everything is original. It belonged to a Canadian studio guitarist who bought it new and kept it for over 50 years!

UTILIZATION

Handle very nice, very easy to play, despite the length of the pitch.
In terms of volume, it is extremely powerful, the body is huge (one of the greatest guitars ever produced), the volume is therefore (which suits me quite personally: I am very tall but my game is pretty sweet ... ).
It focuses on mediums that make these bass notes and bright and warm, rather acute.

SOUNDS

A bright, vintage sound at a time ... Sound "old soul" who have seen both, which is so much to tell, it can not simply say a few words to make us a glimpse of the countries she visited.
From the finger at the hard plectrum, the expressiveness of the game is sublime.
All styles of music would find something to say through this instrument. Of course, first, the American folk, jazz and blues imprint on this patina is magic that transforms a cliché into a grid a standard "timeless" ...

OVERALL OPINION

I have a few months. It is obviously very expensive, but a guitar like that is like happiness, love or health: it is priceless.
