Gauge and make of strings are very subjective, even by guitar.
Many prefer darker Martin strings for their Taylors, while others like a brighter set of Elixirs to accentuate a Taylor's naturally bright character, for example.
Gauge will play a bigger role depending on if you bend a lot, use different tunings, etc. I wouldn't say there's any one gauge or make that's particularly good for Washburns.
What I would do in your shoes is look into what specifically you like and don't like about the strings you currently use with your Washburn, then look into a new set of strings that'll do a better job of performing to your taste.
