A RED SNAPPER BLUE COLLAR and in one box
Each channel has its equa (limit has a tone), its volume and gain.
Two true bypass switches for playing a channel or the other, or both
And yes, both!
This is truly the most from this pedal because you can use the first channel to boost the second or vice versa!
The possibilities are enormous
The circuit is beautiful to look at, it's step by step and there are two NE5532 version "hi-fi" of JRC4558
they are on base, so we can change loirsir (see below)
Beautiful work, housing, logo, connections, nothing to say, the high-end.
Even be asked in (switch the Fulltone) but ultimately all is well
USE
With a little practice, you can do:
a boost and overdrive
a boost overdrive (it sounds not the same as the reverse)
double boost
double overdrive (TS as two in series)
I keep it on channel 1 (in boost) and I channel 2 clicks keeping the boost channel 1
The sound "Marshallian" Channel 2 boost is rich sustain, and allows for a very musical solo.
This effect can be accentuated in equipping channel one of OPA2134A and channel 2 of a TL072
You can play with both TS and two JRC4558
For my part, I stay with the Philips NE5532 are for me a revelation
The sound is more natural and less color so the basis of its better compliance.
SOUND QUALITY
The sound is really good, but I amlior (after tens of testing) rendering by changing op amp.
I have preserved the NE5532, but I put PHILIPS, and this is much better (the pedals are equipped with Wampler DO Philips)
I tried stuff (JRC5558, RC4559, TL072, TLC2272, OPA2134A etc ...), but it is difficult to find a balance between the two channels, better to stay on the same op amp and Philips DO keep the spirit of the original pedal, only better (NE origins are more "dark")
The "fender" channel is really very soft and subtle (in the spirit of a BARBER SILVER LTD) and channel "marshall" sends more sauce (in the spirit of a BARBER DD)
It is not so "flattering" at home, but on stage, with the air of HP, it does not have to complain.
Excellent beast, no breath, silent switch and output level coherent.
It performs well with any type of guitar and is downright versatile (slight crunch of the big tweed has Marshallerie)
NOTICE GLOBAL
To have the versatility of this pedal, I need two good BARBER (LTD Silver and Direct Drive)
I love BARBER, but is still above FISH.
To realize this, we must play condition (low battery and volume)
This is the right way to judge the quality of an effect, because at home it is always good; )dropoff Window
It is no longer manufactures (too much work and too expensive to manufacture for after the designer)
The Menatone pedals are frankly not bad (especially old)
There probably "still" best on the market but the one I care!
You can fall back on the RED SNAPPER is really gniale!
