The Faderfox LX2 is a DDI Controller Ableton Live. The two are perfectly compltent since version 7.1 of Live.

The Faderfox consists of four areas possdant three banks each. The buttons are sort of mini-smarties small enough but ractifs. The case is made of plastic, stiff and faade aluminum finished bte. She inspires confidence and strong.
any MIDI signal can be assign each zone / bank indpendemment (note, control change, program change), the dernire area as a mini midi keyboard Veloci fixed (but adjustable) .

The big advantage of this Controller is its integration with live.
For example instead of choosing to assign a CC zone, we can assign presets as: tracks 1 to mute 12 mute + solo tracks 1 6, fx, rec, etc.. the details will be displayed live as the rl Controller via the LEDs of each button. Ideal for live in dark rooms.

we can supply the housing via a transformer or a 9V battery. Autonomy is standard (more than 150 hours on the site Faderfox). If we do not use the Controller for 10 minutes, he gets into a mode of Economy of energy.

I tried a lot of Controller before it and frankly no one is better suited Live (but only from version 7.1). They get along well and we quickly got used to looking at the Faderfox instead of the live tracks is the only Controller which provides the same sensations that a machine hardware Live.

The Controller can stepfather quend expensive but you can see the quality of manufacturing and it feels, we say it's worth it.

With the experience I LIVE FOR remake that choice.
with another soft, the choice is not as empty, although it is Fully parameter. (By the way I sell it because I've been using more live and have not found rl interest or use it on Logic Renoise)

I did not put 10 because it is difficult to will integrate other apps but if it's just to Live: 11 and he is expected to be sold!
(Small BMOL right even for non-English speaking / germanophones: the manual is not translated into French and logic programming is a bit Drout at beginners)
