ER hearing protectors are custom molded FlexComfort dclinables and attenuation in 3: 9dB, 15dB and 25dB. They are recommended for anyone working in a noisy environment but need to maintain a linear rduction the volume on the full range frequency drives of the ear.
I play in a metal band and I used protection "ear plugs" standard foam ones that are found in concert halls. It's good being protected ears, but the treble and bass are inaudible Submitted too, because of the pressure exerted by the foam pad on the ear canal.
