Described as a Magnetic DSP Colorbox, UBK Pusher is designed for sound sculpting to generate distortion/harmonics and modify the transient character. Kush explains that the plug-in is based on the modeling of 4 “magnetized cores” but doesn’t give any detail about these cores.
The UBK Pusher GUI doesn’t show any function name so you are invited to experiment. However, a Cheat Mode is included where the features are described. You’ll see that Pusher includes an EQ with quite unusual names (Steel, Cobalt, Iron and Nickel), a adjustment for bias, a sidechain high-pass filter, a compressor and the VU-meter will help you monitor the gain reduction level.
Last, UBK Pusher is equipped with a new preset manager.
UBK Pusher will be available soon at www.thehouseofkush.com.
