Presence is designed to “fill the spectrum and add punch, tone, air and strength to tracks and mixes.” It is designed to increase perceived loudness without affecting dynamics, according to the company. Presence is useful on single tracks (mono/stereo) and on submixes/mixes.
Presence includes several algorithms (different dynamic content, colour, response). More will be added in future free updates, SKnote announces. It includes a high-pass filter and a tilt filter for spectral balancing. Its effect can be from strong to subtle, thanks to dynamic harmonic generation, linked to original signal content, the company says.
Pricing & Availability
Presence is available at an introductory price of $9.99 (MSRP is $19.99). Mac VST and Windows 64-bit versions are planned.
