The Clariphonic DSP mkII is still based on Kush Audio’s hardware EQ, but the team reworked the modeling and included new algorithms and filters. The GUI was also revamped and you now can choose between three processing modes: stereo (both channels are linked), dual mono for independent processing of right and left channels and Mid/Side (left channel is Mid and right channel is Side).
In use, you’ll enable each band by clicking on it or using the classic switch. Also, all controls and filters are complemented with their own activation LED.
Kush Audio says that they find sound of this new Clariphonic DSP mkII smoother than the original.
The Clariphonic DSP mkII is available for $199, v1 owners can purchase an upgrade for $49. The plug-in requires an iLok2 dongle. You can also download a trial version from www.thehouseofkush.com.
