The iRing Music Maker app is on the AppStore
Even though the IK Multimedia magic rings are still to be released, you can now discover the app that will accompany them.
Called iRig Music Maker, this app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad is now available for free at the AppStore, which lets us think that the iRing gesture controllers should be available very soon.
Note that you don’t necessarily need the iRing device to use the iRing Music Maker, for everything can be controlled from the touchscreen of your iDevice.
The iRing Music Maker app is designed using songs as a basis. These songs include music loops, with 8 slots, each featuring 9 loops that you can freely mix in real time with your groove: bass, drums, guitar, synth, percussion, multi-instrument loops…
Plus, a selection of 4 effects is available as well as synth and bass synth that you can use to improvise music lines. The app is mainly designed for electronic and urban music production.
iRing Music Maker also features a recorder, sharing functions via e-mail, FTP and SoundCloud, and it is compatible with Inter-App Audio and Audiobus.
You’ll find all the info about the iRing system at www.ikmultimedia.com.
