Xils Lab started to post information and demos about the upcoming version of the Xils virtual synth.
Xils 4 will be a modular synth. According to the first information that has not been officially confirmed by the developer, the instrument would be based on the emulation of the EMS VCS4 prototype, which uses two VCS3 (Synthi) cores, and with additional features.
A first video shows a complex modular GUI with three oscillators, filters, envelopes, noise generator, LFOs, Sample & Hold, reverbs, voltage processor, sequencer, effect section with chorus, phaser and delay, as well as thousand connection possibilities between the modules.
The release date is still to be announced, along with the rest of the details which are expected soon at www.xils-lab.com.
