Fairly Confusing Waveforms releases a variation of his free typewriter/rhythmic sequencer for Kontakt for melodic sequence creation.
Sonocipher now has a little brother, called Melocipher, with which you can create melodic sequences in the full version of Kontakt 4/5.
Unlike Sonocipher, Melocipher accepts notes from a MIDI keyboard and plays them like any ordinary synth. It even features basic waveforms (sine, saw, triangle and pulse) and the developer added a new « & » control that allows for changing the way you handle the different layers and sequences.
Melocipher is available for free at waveforms.fairlyconfusing.net.
