Wavesfactory introduces version 2 of its BlackToms percussion library for Kontakt and EXS24.
BlackToms is a 9-tom sample library played by three percussionists: you have the ability to use either 3 main toms (hi, mid and bass) played solo or the 9 instruments played together (Ensemble)
The toms were recorded dry in WAV 24-bit / 44.1 kHz with 6 velocity layers and 6 round robins.
This new version of BlackToms gives you the ability to stack up to 21 layers and add a « Sub » layer to create a lower, Taiko-like sound. Wavesfactory also included reverb, EQ and stereo imaging controls, and you can crossfade between the two microphone positions via the Distance knob.
The 795 MB library requires the full version of Kontakt 4/5 or EXS24. It is available for 9.95 €, v2 update is free to original owners. More info at www.wavesfactory.com.
