Homegrown Sounds has unveiled the successor of Kosmos, the Multiverse synth and sequencer for Kontakt.

Multiverse is a fully revamped version of Kosmos for Kontakt 5. It also includes all the Kosmology instruments, the latter has been updated for the occasion to include Kosmos.

Improvements are many, users of the Kosmology script will find it familiar:

  • Internal browser to store and load presets, with Previous/Next buttons to navigate in the presets and capacities to filter presets parts
  • Save a default instrument, which will be used for all the Default buttons
  • Improved GUI, the main sound design controls are directly accessible
  • Advanced programable arpeggiator that replaces the sequencer in Kosmos
  • Two synths, each with its own filter section
  • Convolver that replaces the reverb, with 50 impulse responses (the same as in Kosmology)
  • Lighter on CPU that Kosmos
  • Automatic sample memory management

The Kosmology sequencer has been updated to v1.4, a free update for registered users. Kosmos releases will remain available if you own the original instrument but is not on the store anymore.
