Koblo has announced the re-release of the NexSyn software synthesizer.
The product now consists of a core library of waveform sounds with additional sounds from future expansion packs.
NexSyn is now a 130 MB download. The preset library are grouped by type and sound.
NexSyn is described by Koblo as a “hybrid synthesizer” with loadable oscillator types. It is capable of loading sample-based keymap files, in the proprietary XWM (Extended Wave Memory) format. NexSyn also features a true stereo signal path, designed to give NexSyn a “lifelike sound.”
NexSyn’s XWM sound-sets are provided by Big Fish Audio. NexSyn comes packaged with 130 megabytes of XWM synthesizer-based sounds, which can be loaded into two of NexSyn’s three Oscillators.
More XWM soundpacks will be offered via Koblo.com, with sounds ranging from Pianos to Orchestral and Percussive sounds, and more, according to Koblo.
NexSyn is compatible with Mac OS X (Universal Binary) and Windows (XP, Vista), and comes standard in RTAS, VST and AU plug-in formats, as well as a Standalone application.
