miniSoftMusik has announced the release of Extractor, an additive synthesizer with 4 oscillators per 1-128 partials.
Waveforms can be extracted from any wave file (if the wave file is small (min 512 samples) the result is more like the original). It’s possible to save the result as a text file and to load it.
Extractor has 4 oscillators that can be used simultaneously and features a morph function that remembers a wave table or phase distortion. Other functions are a multimode filter, flexible tone distortion, a step sequencer for note, attack and decay envelope. There’s also a chorus.
Extractor is free and available for Windows as a VST instrument plug-in.
