PropellerHead Rebirth has been out for some time now, it is basically the TB 303 Bass , the TR 808 and the 909 Drums machines from Roland all wrapped in to one unit (ReBirth). Over the years they have actually put out a lot of updates and made some changes with this software and now it can even be used on your iPad, it doesn’t just have to be on your Mac anymore. You can download ReBirth from the app store if you want to use it on your iPhone or iPad, otherwise you will just use it on your Mac the way it was originally created. The manual was key for me with this software because it was different to me, I had to refer back to the manual a lot at first. It took me about a week before I didn’t need it anymore, the manual is clear and easy to understand and use. It will really help you understand PropellerHead’s Rebirth pretty fast.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

ReBirth works great and has never had any problems with it, it runs at a high performs on my Mac and now on my iPad (though I like the regular version for Mac better). I am pleased with how easy it was to install and open up, it doesn’t take long at all.


OVERALL OPINION

The price of ReBirth is very affordable, and you will get a great sound and product when you purchase it. It is pretty much a win win. After using the program all this time , there is no doubt that I would purchase it again if I needed to. You get a great program that is very versatile for a great price with all of Roland's Gems ( TB 303, TR 808, 909 ) in it. You have nothing to lose, especially if you love Roland's products.

The software installation poses no problem. What I regret is that we either have to have the CD in the drive then the program to Get You Started (has lowered the note!)

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

For my PC see my configuration description.
The software works well trs. The potentiomtres are a little bit but really just a little long our answer. I work less than 5ms and everything is stable.

OVERALL OPINION

I use RB for about a year. I found the sound fantastic. By listening to the mix, I realize that the sounds are identical to the original machines. Frankly if someone is able to recognize a true Roland accumulation of soft ... bravo. This app brings something my Home Studio. None of my machines or other apps does not produce these sounds.
In soft there is no competition for this product. The report quality-price is right even if the product has now well and that VCU could be a little less expensive ti ... we always want more.
I only regret that we can not get the notes directly from a MIDI keyboard synth but it is forced to go through a small program.
I would do the same choice ... yes

Easy installation and hassle free, no incompatibility (Pentium 4 2 GHz 512 MB RAM).
There is nothing: it works right away alone! No need for manual use 2 TB and TR ...

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Operation without bug or crash on my PC Pentium4 2 GHz 512 MB RAM. Trs low latency (map Creamware Luna).

OVERALL OPINION

In the opinion of all is the only software emulator to reproduce the sound of the TR / TB. The sound is not figure it evolves naurellement in time, as the original TB.
I tried also from the Creamware formulations, some are less ralistes but I will trs good too even if they have a more fig.
Rebirth is universally Whereas as the ultimate in clone Contents / accumulation of these machines, much to suprieur Roland groove boxes, this is a must for techno and electro.
Russia's first shot with a perfect software, Proppellerhead could not go any further, so they Designed Reason, who now hides his illustrious ain. But if you only need a "groovebox", why buy an entire virtual studio?
The price could actually be cheaper, PRS 150E.
