Sinevibes offers Mac OS X users a small synth to create sweeps, sub-basses, glitches and more…
The new Zap only works if you feed it with audio. The signal path starts with an envelope follower that tracks the peak energy of the incoming audio and sends it to a monophonic oscillator. The latter features three waveforms (pure sine, ring modulated sines and phase modulated sines).
The interface with its clear color code, offers time, sensitivity, resolution, depth and curve controls for the envelope follower, as well as frequency and dry/wet mix for the oscillator section. It also displays the output waveform.
Zap is a 32 and 64-bit AU plug-in optimized for Retina screens. It is available for free at www.sinevib.es.
