Following Clarinet Virtuoso, the first instrument of the series, Bassoon Virtuoso is a bassoon library recorded in a symphonic concert hall and played by a soloist. 8DIO used three microphone positions (Close, Decca and Far), and included its advanced legato system with slow and fast variations, marcatos and more.
Multiple vibrato levels are also available as well as a version without vibrato.
Last, 8DIO added breath, clics and other key noise samples for enhanced realism.
The 5.1GB library features 4605 files in 24-bit / 96kHz stereo NCW format and 6 Kontakt instruments. It requires the full version of Kontakt v4.2 and later.
Bassoon Virtuoso is available for the introductory price of $99 until September 1st. Regular price is $139. You can listen to audio demos at 8dio.com.
