OVERALL OPINION

I just mailed the notice to clear a big misunderstanding: THIS IS NOT A TS 808!
I have a TS-5, a TS-9, a TS 808 800 and the TO so I can compare!
First observation by plugging;

The sound is not bad, far from it rather hot and bold, the slight boost in overdrive means (as his inspiration). But the resemblance stops there, if we push the tone of knob beyond 12 hours the sound gets "spicy" and aggressive (in the bad sense), the dynamics have just eaten by the "real" here is completely dissolved , sound as a whole is "end" and a little synthetic, treble and bass are acidic too hard.

Let's take a look at the pcb to understand:

The original (ts 9 a circuit with maxon acronym in this case):

The TO 800:

We still see a slight difference right?

Finally, this little pedal still an asset, its price, for my part I got it for € 19 (not the cheapest store that I know ...) a small price when you hear the sound money all comes out okay!
So you do not mind lugging around the, I use it also like that, out of the question that I fixed on my pedal board but to go jam with friends in a manner "road" is perfect. ..
A good little pedal for those who want a bit of a warm tube amp low end or add a little gain on a transistor, a ridiculous price can buy it without asking too many questions and not be embarrassed on the day sheapissime its plastic case will be found crushed under a big plate!
