« That's good! »
Published on 02/03/12 at 07:42This is an overdrive pedal format echoing the famous circuit foo foo stuff. Past advisories explain all this much better than I ever could.
An inlet, an outlet, an outlet for the power supply (9V classic) and that's it. As soon as you plug a jack into this pedal, we see immediately that a case has quality equipment and reliable.
UTILIZATION
Very simple to use.
SOUND QUALITY
This is an excellent overdrive pedal. Among his great qualities, I remember most his respect for the sound of the guitar. It does not color the sound when it is turned off (long live the true bypass). The settings are effective and progressive. In addition it is very quiet, almost not breathing.
OVERALL OPINION
I use this pedal for about a month. I was looking for an OD can bring me that little something extra (+ gain, more compression) for lead passages. Indeed, I do not gain much when I play rhythm in order to maintain the characteristics of each of the positions of my guitars, but when I switch on lead, it's a fair bit. So I use this pedal to boost an already saturated amplifier. I also use it on the clean channel and the result is also very friendly.
The big plus if I have to compare the model to which it is based is that transparency and efficiency of its settings.
I think given the quality of this pedal, the asking price is more than reasonable.
I would do this choice without hesitation.
