I have nothing more to add everything has been said in previous comments
UTILIZATION
I use a Les Paul trad Strat standard ... on a fender 65 deluxe with Celestion Alnico Blue
SOUND QUALITY
I'm a big fan of Benrod, I have the Classic Screamer, the Goldbener the Light My Fire Red Fuzz and on this one but for me it is not a total success ...
the use of this pedal is 100% drive in boost mode as the Classic Screamer or Goldbender she made that lack of clarity, not enough treble and middle to bring out a mix, despite the presence of a cut (bass), drive mode the combination of Cut and Cream gives a good result, then we can play with nuances Gain and Volume, for me it is a good drive but very versatile compared to the pedal market as Wampler eg Plexidrive, Black Tweed 57 or 65 ... the result is immediately a little boxy and rough, it is not enough free collar ... it lacks sharpness and presence
it amazes me there or it is in front of the Red Fuzz Benrod it downright sublime Fuzz where it sends heavy can dig the fuzz with Cream Cut and just for that it tears, it nears perfection with a Strat
Otherwise do not expect the same that made the videos with Judge Fredd on a HP Alnico she does not like on a HP Ceramic found somewhat the same sound
OVERALL OPINION
Pure Drive is not bad, but quite versatile at the same time it has its charm and character that is Benrod we like it or not, it is a matter of taste ...
According to the Red Fuzz, there is a pure killing was reached the heights ... I do not know if I would do this choice with another Fuzz, this is what it would be less so ... I keep waiting, just for info this is a pedal that I bought after selling so well it's twice as store bought ... because of this damn Red Fuzz which I really want to master the subtleties and possibilities ... and thanks to this pedal can do it, so no regrets seen services rendered to my Fuzz
