UTILIZATION

Very simple configuration (there are 3 knobs ..), Manual nice but unnecessary.
Edition ultra simple, each setting opens the door to a new paradise sound

SOUND QUALITY

Used with a Mexican Start 2004, as amended: 2 Fender Texas Special pickups and a seymour duncan side handle, plus a "mid boost" to Clapton, all performed by a real luthier specialized. Vox AD50VT amp, mainly on boutique clean, blackface or tweed

OVERALL OPINION

For a week, and I confirm all the good they said so far.
It's solid stuff, serious, and most of all, the sounds are fabulous.
No way to stop playing! Even my wife came down to ask me if I had a new amp, new guitar or two ... and how much it had cost.
When I told him it was just "small" (it's a real tank) I had to pedal 79 euros on ebay, she did not even ask to lower the sound.
We are far from desperate overdrive of some brands.

As its name suggests, that is pure & very effective drive.

No rack, but it is no longer the class effects "standard" in terms of volume, weight
and ergonomics.
The weight of agreement, it is at 1.2 kg (but justified by the strength).

UTILIZATION

The configuration could not be simpler. (Three spots sensitive and very interactive).

The manual is clear and sufficient? ...............
In my opinion not very useful, but aesthetic.
The packaging is perfect (the box look a little unusual, but that is solid and original).

The AC adapter is a continuation ... solid.

SOUND QUALITY

Close the lamp, balance between the volume / gain settings & guitar tones / tone / level effect particularly effective.

OVERALL OPINION

Used for two months and I think this is merely a beginning.

Other models used:
Memory and the latest: a Boss overdrive, the famous TS9 (the comparison made on the occasion)
a Zvex Box of Rock (the one may hesitate).


As for the inevitable questions:
Price / quality ratio ... compare.
Do again what you choose ... not the problem, I 'plans to use HT and HT Boost Delay

It is a tube overdrive, the tube is powered to 300V.
A 16V power supply is provided.
3 knobs, nothing complicated trs:
- Gain
- Tone
- Level
The tone operates in class A.
HP simulator output (I aps had a chance to test it).
Trs good finish is solid and in addition it is equipped with a true bypass that you ask for.
This goes from the pedals boost the distortion through the crunch.
BMOL one, I AIM there ale a TFR as the other pedals of the brand.
I also tested the HT-DIST but the gain was too high for my style of play so I prfr it gives me an incredible crunch and warm.

UTILIZATION

You can not get any easier as use. A range of incredible, I could even find a trs electric prunes his playing a little, but fun.

SOUND QUALITY

Great sound quality, I use it with my Duesenberg Double Cat on a Vox AD50-VT. The sound of my guitar is trs Fidler and lens, there is no loss in the high frequency drives; I'm really thrilled every time I push the switch by the neighbors against .. .
I also use a vox pedals Cooltron 'over the top boost' before the HT-drive, which makes the sound even more incredible, of course it's personal opinion.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a week.
I like everything in the pedals even the small orange light LED lamp .
Great price quality ratio, the less CHRE the range of from blackstar I think.
If ever I poured my soup on it and it irrparable silent, I will immediately buy into a
I put ten even if it lacks the ISF because they do not know it all.

Overdrive pedals lamps ultra simple tone gain level, with direct output to PC (not tried. Lack ISF versions of distortion, but also a real legalization. Qualit manufacturing excellent. Irrprochable finish.

UTILIZATION

Ultra easy to use pedals as a "X". Level are pushed up to 3 / 4 to have a more volume that the sound lev clear base. The stomp switch is ultra-quiet, no noise of switch.

SOUND QUALITY

What grain! The HT possde a grain of its own, with a little something or Marshall (cousin but moves away), and the smallest subtlety rpond The quality of play is really overdrive PREMIUM, burying a lot of amps lamps cheap. The tone is trs ffective and influences the grain but do not Tolra rglage extreme if we are to maintain a certain harmony between the clean and saturated in terms of frequencies. I left East prfre the tone, but the sound is "dull" compared to the clear sound, which cre a dsiquilibre. The tone is excellent right rocks and biting. We arrive to find a balance. The sound is more noble than any pedals lamps (and I believe in trying a package whose main REFERENCE).

My only BMOL will be an abundance of bass, not deaf, on the contrary quite dynamic, but that makes it all more modern. Difficult to obtain a more mdium vintage-style Jeff Beck for example. It will have the advantage of nanmoins rveiller some amps (JCM900 or DSL for example). I prcise you get a good sound regardless of the quality of the light of the amp. The pedals have earned legalization avoirune true 3-band, more than the ISF.

OVERALL OPINION

TRS is by far the best overdrive pedals I've tried lamps. She buried, in terms of grain quality and sound, the mesa, Hughes & Kettner brunetti, and many of the vox sr I could try.
I nanmoins apprci bnficier of the Systm isf and / or legalization Settings, to get the record (in terms of harmonics) and management low, but it really is just about got: the pedals is exceptional, but will not join my pedalboard. I turned to HTDual, although I am not really "distortion", but plutt overdrive. The overdrive section has a little less gain, but is more malleable and faile Grable. And the distortion is not my time dgueu!

OVERALL OPINION

I bought the HT-Drive occasion. I try a Dual-HT who had frankly amazed and I jumped at the HT-Drive, telling me that this pedal is the same quality and I must say I'm really not disappointed. It is clear that the two pedals are not comparable, the HT-Dual 2-channel and allows a finer adjustment. Now I love the pedal that sounds simple, and HT-drive meets my expectations. So the lack of IFS and parametric equalizer does not bother me at all, its disadvantages for some and rather an advantage for me, you plug it sounds ...
In addition Emulated output can plug it directly on the mixer, it avoids to board the amp weighs 40 Kg
For the light pedal price / quality ratio is excellent ...

Blackstar makes gret sounding amps as well as pedal. many of their pedal are based off of their amp's preamp designs. Many touring and professional artists all over the globe are now turning towards Blackstar for their guitar amplifier and pedal needs. They ar able to get a huge market now to added artists signing on for endrosments all the time. To add to their prestige they have included a whole line of distortion pedals as well.

This little pedal use a class A design to pump the glorious cascading gain into your amp. You can use this pedal as a boost or as a all out gain monster. The tone is a bit different than the boost pedal from Blackstar as this one has more of the Vox Orange feel and tone to the distortion.

SOUND QUALITY

I have to say I am already fan of Blackstar amplification but now I am even a fan of their foot distortion pedals as well. I am not a distortion pedal guy. I generally like to get my tone and gain from the amps preamp combined with the power tube section of the amp. The class A design to this pedal is magnificent. You get a great British distortion tone that is equated to my ears as the tone or an Orange amp or a Vox amp. This pedal does not sound like either of those amps but it has a few similarities in the frequencies in which is produces. This pedal used as an all out gain pedal is where it live though. The design and fell of it is remarkable. This little pedal gives you plenty of drive to kick the pants of the your amp. If you wants to use it as a boost to drive an already overdriven amp into submission.

OVERALL OPINION

You can pick these pedals up new right at around $ 179, which is a decent and fair price for this pedal. It sound god and does exactly what is says. I like the tone and the flavor of distortion is a nice warm tone. I would recommend this pedal to anyone who need a great sounding overdrive pedal to bite their clan or gained out amp.

All that is simpler with three pots of adjustment and grain output simply always clean no matter the setting chosen and all its beauty BLUES ROCK ....
It has everything and plussss can plug it directly they think of everything and I love the lamp lights a lamp at all is moi.Ca has changed my life the lamps I could go back.

Press the LIVE used because I have not had the opportunity and yes still looking for zicosssss (but where are they?). And also recording.
I use it all the time as having a clear sound with my amp (Peavey Windsor Studio is assimilated geniale) with I have a terrible distortion on my amp home I found easily with this pedal creepy !!!!!

UTILIZATION

Three knobs, not very complicated ... But the essence is there.

SOUND QUALITY

I use a Fender classic player 50 and I tried it on my valve junior all-tube and a Marshall 30watts.

It was a TRUE GRAIN. His sounds range from blues to rock with many sharp distortions through AC / DC.
An overdrive pedal vriament polyvalant. By varying the tone knob obtained very different colors.
Knob of the level is too reactive, when pushed, we feel that the lamp works and offers the famous grain amp Class The sound is still hot no matter the setting, it will not remain cold and hard as others.

OVERALL OPINION

For the price, for those who do not know quite what to do with their sound and who will not feel trapped having bought a pedal much like a TS9 typed for about the same price. It is a very versatile pedal you can play everything from blues to heavy to AC, DC and other music at distos sharp. (In terms of both the metal eh forget it not for either AC)

I urge all beginners who are starting to build up their gear wisely and all confirmed.
