The series of Overdrive Tube Screamer.
The series of cheap version based in the 90's. Look panzer, plastic, but sturdy lgre.
No true-bypass, like all TS elsewhere, but the sound is not too even when ALTR.
Housing for the battery quite convenient.
A switch on / off quite fragile. Mine runs just four times a prs so I put the pedals in ct ...
UTILIZATION
A SETTING THE drive, a tone, a level, what classic.
The drive is not standard in lightweight, but it is not the purpose of this kind of pedals.
The manual? Why!
SOUND QUALITY
Good, sound. Caution There's the purists that cost.
I had a TS9 and I possde a TS10 (my prfre). I know the TS808 too.
And well, frankly, that s not too ashamed before his sisters.
The grain is the hot crmeux (in English they say, smooth), ideal for blues or rock n 'roll the old one. Lights on an amp you type SRV without problem (it's near the trs of "China Girl"). A little less gain than a TS 10, TS 808 less than subtle but you'd be surprised at the similarity between these devices.
S'crase sound a little low. It may be a inconvnient for some but personally I think it's an advantage for the rhythmic Chuck Berry in power-chords. The bass is better dtachent mix.
The treble is not at all aggressive and with a neck pickup is a stratum rgal.
On YouTube, there are also quite a comparison between the TS 808 difiant and TS5. Ben frankly, there's the diffrence of course, but is really minimal. Judge plutt:
OVERALL OPINION
Voil pedals this is certainly not the best of SERIES Tube Screamer, but it is good when even.
Only inconvnient, mine is in the closet because of relgue switch dfectueux and good, I do not really want to do it because I rpar possde others.
The report price is good quality for sound, less well for the technical reliability.
But the whole SERIES Sound Tank is actually like.
