Everything has been said ...

UTILIZATION

Pedal a bit heavy, which reassures the coup robustness level. 3 knobs, efficient, no frills, there is the sound you want quickly. Happiness ...

SIIIIIIIMMMMMMPLE use.

Boring stuff builders: No PSU BUT battery included!

SOUND QUALITY

Previously I was using a 193 m mxr gt-od overdrive that does not really satisfy me. I was looking for a slightly warmer and vintage sound. I found my happiness with the Maxon.

Coupled with a Proco Rat 2 for a combo / overdrive-distortion, it's just magical, harmonious and "get into it".

I also used to clean boost on some songs. This is a superb fluidity ... pfff!

I play Fender and Les Paul telecast us custom pro on these two types of guitars the sound is exceptional and a little hotter round on Les Paul anyway. In a Vox amp I vtx 120. It's pure happiness when seeking an overdrive to vintage sounds, sign this pedal eyes closed. Especially if you are in the 70's 80's rock and blues rock.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had one week to replace the m193 mxr gt-od. Seeking a more vintage sound, less impersonal than the mxr (who says this is a good pedal anyway!) I finally found the sound that suits me the most. My string is: Proco Rat 2 (distortion) - maxon od-9 (overdrive) - Boss RV-3 (delay / reverb) - Electro Harmonix Cathedral (stereo reverb).

I'll go back ...
