I just want to correct an error in a previous opinion. The Maxon 0D 9 is the same as the TS9 pedal ... but better!
Indeed, they are missing components from the original pedal components are unnecessary (since the pedal is not made quite the same way). So there is less risk of parasites etc ... There is a true bypass, unlike the TS9. The components are generally of better quality.
And if you do not believe me, take a look at the site of AnalogMan. He is an expert in small green pedals (he changes them for Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Scott Anderson etc ...). In after him maxon OD-9 sound better than the TS9 and TS808 as well as (reissue of the Ibanez is almost the same as the original but it tells us that not quite ...).
Anyway, a very good pedal, and no deceit!
