OVERALL OPINION

Let me be clear with you, this story chip, circuit, identical to the original scheme, blah blah blah ... I do not care!

What I ask is that this pedal sounds.
And here I must say that advertising and rank pedal worship is unjustified:

Positive:

A beautiful grain, a finesse, very subtle.

Negative:

The sound seems slightly off, too content.

Its lack of truebypass affect your signal, even if the pedal is not engaged. Specifically your sound clear is found in slightly swollen, more bassy.

If you place before an overdrive to increase the gain of it, you will absolutely lower the tone of the maxon minimum to meet your overdrive tone, because if the tone of the maxon is at noon, it will add treble to your sound.

The switch seems a little fragile.

And then you say: "But what he tells everyone that she is great this pedal, it's an absolute classic!"

And as everyone says, I bought eyes closed following the various enthusiastic reviews that I could read here and there.

But no, this pedal is not great, it does not justify its price and even if it was worship there 30 years it is now swept by Xotic RC Booster, the Barber LTD, the Mad Professor Little Green and others.

In summary, I would say: "Vive les Tubescreamer But not this one!"
