Recovery circuit driver tube lamps by replacing FETs.
This is an overdrive with a lot of gain.

The pedal is true bypass and is powered by battery or 9V power supply.

Solid construction. MXR pedals is very good the last time.

UTILIZATION

The pedal takes a little time to find the sound you are looking for. Beyond traditional Volume and Drive, a two-band EQ (Hi and Lo) helps to sculpt the sound and a high-cut filter attenuates acute high volume or by the desired sound.

There are examples in the manual and it's not bad for grip.

SOUND QUALITY

It's a great pedal typed. Love it or hate it. I love it. And I'm not huge fan of Bonamassa.

The sound is very thick with lots of bass (even more) and a lot of treble. Fortunately there is the small button high cut magic because without it, it tears a little and it also blows slightly.

I used rather big boost for solos (volume at 5am, drive to 11) on a JTM 45/100 already crunch. This is typical, not transparent but it is not what is asked!

The sound has a grain to it with a good aftertaste Dumble transients with a bit reversed. You need a good volume to stand out in the mix. Blues to Pink Floyd through Bonamassa (still happy), there are a lot of sounds on top just by playing with the guitar volume. The pedal is also very susceptible to attack and lets the nuances.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had a few days.

I took it on a whim because of the great price compared to the French advertised price. I regrettepas all purchase. This is a great addition to my current gear and I am a good twenty overdirves.

Now that know what can be learned, I would buy immediately if I lost it or if anything happened to him.
